MILLER HARPER
Location: Charleston, SC Position: Project Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
Miller is project manager for East West Partners in Charleston, SC. He manages all aspects of the development process.
BACKGROUND
Miller began his Real Estate career working with a resort development company in Myrtle Beach, SC. He moved to Beaver Creek, Colorado in 2004 to work for East West Partners. While in Beaver Creek he worked on the Village Walk, Beaver Creek Landing & Manor Vail projects. He, his wife Shipley & daughter Croft, moved back home to the coast of South Carolina to help manage all facets of the East West Partner’s South Carolina Operations.
EDUCATION
Miller hold’s a bachelor of science in Finance from Wofford College. He also holds a Real Estate Sales License in South Carolina.
PERSONAL
Miller is active with the Young Professionals Organization of the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and the Coastal Conservation League. He enjoys snow skiing, mountain biking, surfing & boating. He is also a licensed Captain.
ROSS E. BOWKER
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ross Bowker is East West Partners’ South Carolina partner for hospitality operations and development. As Executive Vice President of East West Resorts, LLC, he oversees 1400 residential units in over 20 condominium associations in Beaver Creek, Colorado, Hilton Head, South Carolina and Charleston’s Sea Islands. Ross’ previous development efforts include the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek completed in December, 1989 and in 1998 received the ULI Award of Excellence Winner for Beaver Creek’s Village Center incorporating two residential buildings, retail space, and the community ice rink and performing arts center. He currently is developing One Vendue Range condominiums in the historic district of Charleston.
BACKGROUND
Ross’ 30 year hospitality career includes ten years of private club management in Ohio and Virginia, operation of the Fripp Island Resort, Beaufort, SC and timeshare operations for American Resorts at Sea Pines, SC. As vice president of resort operations at Beaver Creek, he created the Beaver Creek Club and Vail Associates Hospitality Corp.
EDUCATION
A native of New Jersey, his education includes both a BA and an MBA from Michigan State University’s School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Among his professional affiliations, Ross holds a real estate broker’s licenses in Colorado and South Carolina. He is a director of the Board of the Beaver Creek Resort Company, and the Trident Academy School in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
PERSONAL
Ross, his wife Debbie, and two of their four children, Travis and Ripley reside in Charleston, South Carolina. Grown daughter Abby lives in Massachusetts, while Angie lives near Ft. Worth, Texas.
