ANDY GUNION

RESPONSIBILITIES
Andy enjoys the entrepreneurial spirit at East West Partners. He helps manage all aspects of the development process including, acquisition, zoning and entitlements, financial analysis, financing, project design, marketing, construction, owner relations and operations/asset management. Andy served as project manager for the Westin Riverfront and for the design phase of the Penthouses at Manor Vail.
BACKGROUND
Andy joined the East West family in July 2004. He was previously a financial analyst for Vail Resorts Development Company where he worked on preliminary planning for the Arrabelle at Vail Square, Ritz-Carlton Residences, Vail, Lodge at Vail Chalets, Gore Creek Place and the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club.
EDUCATION
Andy has an MBA and an MRED (Master of Real Estate Development) from the University of Southern California and a BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
PERSONAL
Andy and his wife Jamie live in Vail and enjoy mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding and attending the great concerts that the Vail Valley hosts. Andy is also an undiscovered blues guitarist.
ANDY SUTTON

RESPONSIBILITIES
Andy Sutton spent a number of years in the real estate industry along with growing up in the business. At East West Partners, he has primarily worked with equity partners including KSL Capital, Crescent Real Estate, Morgan Stanley, Barclays and Starwood Capital. Andy has helped manage financial budgets for over 35 projects and at East West Partners. Additionally, he has helped facilitate the investment from multiple equity partners on several new projects in Tahoe, Denver and the Colorado mountains.
BACKGROUND
Prior to joining East West Partners, Andy was a Financial Analyst with Vail Resorts. Before Vail Resorts, he was an Associate with investment bank CIBC World Markets in Houston, Texas.
EDUCATION
Andy earned a Bachelors of Business Administration at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
PERSONAL
Andy, his wife Kelsey and daughter reside in Hawaii on Kauai. Andy’s interest and hobbies include: playing golf, skiing, fly fishing and mountain biking.
BETTINA MEDINA

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Director of Technology for Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate, Bettina manages the all web and internet marketing initiatives for Eagle and Summit Counties. She is also responsible for providing and implementing innovative and competitive real estate solutions for all areas of the real estate business.
BACKGROUND
Bettina is a native of Germany where she worked as a Dental Hygienist and Administrative Support for the Air Force. She moved to the Vail Valley in 1993. Bettina worked at the Colorado Mental Health Center in Vail prior to joining Slifer Smith & Frampton in 1994 as Administrative Support. Since that time she has moved into a variety of other roles including Tech Support, Graphic Design, Website Programming and Management.
EDUCATION
Bettina earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in Germany. She became a Certified Website and Software Usability Analyst in 2007 through Human Factors International in Seattle.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Bettina participates in many community events such as the Vail Valley Highway clean-up and the Mule Deer Foundation.
PERSONAL
Bettina and her husband Mark live in Eagle, Colorado. They love to boat, ski and go horse-back riding.
CHARLES (CHUCK) I. MADISON

RESPONSIBILITIES
Chuck Madison is the Partner in charge of Resort Development for Colorado as well as various projects at Northstar Mountain in the Lake Tahoe area of California. Formerly, Chuck was President of East West Associates, Inc., and the partner in charge of the Lakemont planned community development near Seattle, Washington.
BACKGROUND
Before joining East West Partners in 1986, Chuck was Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of Vail Associates, Inc.; he began with that company in 1980 as Treasurer. Prior to 1980, he served in the audit division of Arthur Andersen & Co. in Seattle, was Special Projects Manager for the Sun Valley Company in Idaho.
EDUCATION
Chuck holds a business degree from the University of Washington and is a graduate of Harvard University’s Advanced Development Management Program in Real Estate. He has also been a Certified Public Accountant.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
A native of Seattle, Chuck is a member of the Urban Land Institute, a founding board member of Citizens for Quality Education and The Public Education Foundation of Eagle County (www.EFEC.org) and a past board member of the Beaver Creek Metropolitan District, Beaver Creek Resort Company, Bellevue Boys and Girls Club and treasurer of the Vail Valley Foundation as well as a past member of Lambda Alpha International.
PERSONAL
Chuck and his wife Leslie reside in Edwards, Colorado. They have four children-Ryan, Kyle, Christen and Tyler.
COLLEEN M. WEISS-HANEN

RESPONSIBILITIES
Colleen Weiss is Vice President of Finance of East West Resorts primarily responsible for the oversight of Finance, Human Resources and Technology.
BACKGROUND
Colleen’s 20 year hospitality/accounting career includes seven years as Controller of a Property Management company located in Vail and thirteen years with East West Resorts fulfilling various accounting positions up to her current.
EDUCATION
Colleen earned a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Among other professional affiliations, Colleen has been active in the local chapter of HFTP (Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals) since it’s inception and is active in local education committees.
PERSONAL
Colleen resides in Eagle Vail with her two children Jana and Eric and has been a Colorado resident for 20 years. Her interests including skiing, boating and snow shoeing.
CRAIG FERRARO

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the managing partner, Craig oversees the overall practice, management and day-to-day operations of East West Partners and each of its development projects.
BACKGROUND
Craig came to us from Aspen Skiing Company where he was their Chief Financial Officer. He began his career in Public Accounting in San Francisco Bay area where he worked over a five year period, the last year as a Manager. After receiving his MBA Craig returned to Colorado and has worked in a variety of financial and operating positions for public and private companies in Denver and Aspen.
EDUCATION
Craig received a B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. Craig became a Certified Public Accountant in California while working for Touche Ross.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Craig’s community service revolves around education; he has been a Board Member of a Charter School and the University of Colorado’s Leeds Business School. He is currently a member of the University of Colorado’s Real Estate Counsel. He is also a Board Member of the Vail Valley Soccer Club.
PERSONAL
Craig and his wife Kristi have two sons. He enjoys outdoor activities in the mountains and is thankful to live in such a beautiful setting.
DAVE OZOG

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Accounting and Tax manager, Dave is responsible for the financial reporting of all East West Partners Development Companies. He prepares tax returns, reviews tax returns from outside tax accountants and deals with all tax issues and audits.
BACKGROUND
Dave joined the East West Partners Family in July 2002. Previously, he was an accounting manager at Cordillera for four years. He managed the accounting for club operations, including the lodge, restaurant and golf courses.
EDUCATION
Dave received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from The Ohio State University.
PERSONAL
Dave moved to the Vail Valley in 1994 for his love of the mountains. He and his wife Julie have 2 daughters named Rachel and Jessica and enjoy skiing, kayaking and mountain biking.
ERIC BURGUND

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Director of Marketing for Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate, Eric is busy keeping it real. He manages the overall direction of marketing and advertising initiatives including technology, print materials, newspaper and magazine advertising, television, developer marketing plans, affiliations and direct mail. He is also responsible for overseeing and adhering to the annual marketing budget.
BACKGROUND
After college, Eric moved to Vail and began working as an Office Assistant in Slifer Smith & Frampton’s Beaver Creek office. Soon he was promoted to a Broker Assistant, then to a Marketing Specialist, where Eric learned everything about marketing for the Real Estate Industry. He was responsible for the direction and implementation of technology initiatives including web strategy, search engine marketing, email newsletters, print advertising and web advertising. He coordinated, composed and edited a bi-weekly glossy advertising insert into local newspaper ranging from 8 to 52 pages and oversaw the design, copy, photography and general information used in collateral materials such as the Portfolio of Properties, newsletters, print advertising and promotional materials.
EDUCATION
Eric received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Advertising from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. After moving to Colorado, he attended the Colorado Real Estate Institute and became a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker Associate. Recently, Eric graduated from the Vail Leadership Institute where he gained skills relating to leadership, goal setting and management.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Each year, Eric volunteers as the Charity Director for the Holly Hog Golf Tournament in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He is also an active volunteer helping to promote fundraising events for First Descents, a local organization that hosts kayaking and outdoor camps for young adults with cancer. His favorite volunteer projects include the Highway Cleanup, East West Hoedown, and Habitat for Humanity. Eric serves as an elected board member of the Chapel Square Homeowners Association.
PERSONAL
Eric and his wife Alison live in Edwards with their new baby girl Avery. They enjoy the outdoor lifestyle in the Vail Valley including skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, playing soccer, golfing, traveling and camping.
GAYE STEINKE

RESPONSIBILITIES
Gaye manages the operations of the Allegria Spa, including the spa, salon, the 1000 member club, the boutique, the “Spatique” located on the ice skating rink in Beaver Creek, and the “Prima Donna” team spa.
BACKGROUND
Gaye joined East West Partners for the opening and development of the Allegria Spa in 1998. She oversaw the opening of the Spa at the Cascade Club in Vail as the General Manager for eight years and consulted on the development of the Moonlight Spa in Big Sky Montana. Before moving to Colorado for her love of skiing, Gaye lived in Boston and New York City for twelve years working as a sales representative for the New York Times and National Cable Advertising. Gaye looks forward to the future development of East West branded spas in Denver, Lake Tahoe, Deer Valley and South Carolina.
EDUCATION
Gaye graduated from Boston College as a Russian major.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Gaye was a founding member for the Vail Valley charitable fund. She is a Girl Scout leader and a Red Sandstone Elementary School volunteer. At the spa, Gaye leads various charitable events such as “Girlfriend Spa Weekends” with proceeds benefiting the Junior League of Denver, the Women’s Resource Center, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund. The Allegria Spa also hosts wig styling events for patients at the Shaw Regional Cancer Center.
PERSONAL
Gaye, her husband and two children live in Vail and enjoy all winter sports, mountain biking, and traveling. Gaye recently returned from a trip to Thailand and Japan where she investigated Asian spa culture.
HARRY H. FRAMPTON III

RESPONSIBILITIES
Harry Frampton is the Chairman of East West Partners which specializes in real estate development and is currently developing resort properties in Vail, Beaver Creek, and Summit County in Colorado, Lake Tahoe, California and Deer Valley, Utah. Harry is a principal of Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate.
BACKGROUND
Harry began his real estate career with Sea Pines Company, Hilton Head, South Carolina, serving in various capacities and ultimately reaching the position of Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors. In 1976, he became President and a majority stockholder of The Brandermill Group in Richmond, Virginia. From 1982 to 1986, he was President of Vail Associates, Inc., the creators of Vail and Beaver Creek Mountain resorts in Colorado.
EDUCATION
Harry holds a graduate degree in economics from Clemson University has taken graduate studies in business administration and is a graduate of Harvard University’s Small Company Executive Management Program.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Harry is Chairman of the Board of the Vail Valley Foundation, instrumental in organizing and supporting the 1989 and 1999 World Alpine Ski Championships, the Bolshoi Ballet, the World Championships of Mountain Biking, and former President Gerald R. Ford’s World Forum. Harry was a member of the Board of Directors for FirstBank Holding Company of Colorado for several years. Harry was also the past president of the Urban Land Institute’s Large Scale Development Council and Recreation Council.
PERSONAL
A native of Hartsville, South Carolina, Harry and his wife Susan reside in Vail, Colorado. Their eldest son, Christopher, is a graduate of Davidson College in North Carolina and Matthew is a graduate of Duke University.
JAMES G. FLAUM

RESPONSIBILITIES
In 1996, Harry Frampton offered Jim the position of Managing Broker for Slifer Smith & Frampton Vail Associates Real Estate, a real estate brokerage firm with over 100 brokers and sales over $1 billion dollars annually.
BACKGROUND
Jim Flaum grew up on the East side of Cleveland, Ohio. He started his real estate career in San Diego, California in 1969 as a real estate broker. In 1972 he started a general real estate brokerage firm, which grew to 130 agents in southern California.
Jim moved to Vail, Colorado in 1979 where he became involved in real estate brokerage and developed high-end vacation homes. In the early 1980′s he was Managing Broker for Vail Associates Real Estate when Harry Frampton was president of Vail Associates, Inc. In 1986 he moved to Atlanta, Georgia and was president of East West Partners of Georgia and developed a single-family home community called Country Lake. In 1990, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be Vice President of Sales and Marketing for an East West Partners community called Eagle Harbor, a 4,000 home/golf course community.
EDUCATION
Jim graduated from Miami of Ohio in 1967 with a degree in Management and Marketing.
After graduation he completed the Aviation Officer program for the Navy and spent four years as a Navy Pilot.

JEAN K. SHEARON

RESPONSIBILITIES
Jean Shearon is Vice President of Finance primarily responsible for managing the brokerage operations in Colorado. Her job responsibilities include Financial Reporting and Accounting for East West Partners, Inc., and certain operating companies within the East West family. Coordinate payroll, business insurances, health benefits and 401(k) plans for the Companies.
BACKGROUND
Jean joined East West Partners in 1994 as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining East West Partners, Jean was Controller of Vail Associates from 1986 to 1994. She was responsible for all accounting and reporting functions for Vail, Beaver Creek and Arrowhead Resorts. From 1975 to 1986, Jean held various financial positions with Vail Associates, Inc.

Jean earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland at College Park before joining Vail Associates, Inc. in 1975.

Jean is active in children’s education for Catholic Archdiocese.

Jean resides in Eagle-Vail, Colorado with her husband Bob and their children Robert, Elizabeth, David, and Christina. Her interests include skiing, swimming, and biking.
JERRI NIEMEYER

RESPONSIBILITIES
Jerri’s responsibilities include consolidation of the financial statements; financial reporting of various East West Partners development companies, and she coordinates our internal IT support for our accounting software needs.
BACKGROUND
Jerri has worked for East West Partners since 1998. She started as a staff accountant and then became the Manager of Accounting Operations working closely with the staff accountants and managed the Sarbane Oxley Process. Prior to joining the East West Partners, Jerri worked for Vail Resorts from 1988 to 1998 in the Purchasing and Accounting Departments.

Jerri received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Information Technology from the University of Northern Colorado.
PERSONAL
Jerri is a Colorado native, married with two children; she enjoys mountain biking, swimming, quilting and reading.
JOHN V. EVANS

RESPONSIBILITIES
John is a member of the Executive Committee, and Executive Vice President responsible for new business development at East West Resorts (“EWR” or “the Company”).
In that capacity, John is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s growth strategies. He works closely with real estate developers, investors and homeowners. John has been involved in the purchases or sales of about twenty-five businesses, and negotiated land sales, real estate purchases and sales, financing and franchise agreements.
John is also a member of the team that provides asset management services for the owner of the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, and a significant resort club which includes multiple golf courses and other resort club amenities.
John is a primary liaison with East West Partners, the Company’s real-estate development affiliate. In that capacity, he works with EWP’s development teams to ensure developed properties meet the needs of various stakeholders, including property owners, staff and guests.
BACKGROUND
John has over 20 years experience in the hospitality and real estate industries and has been with East West Resorts/East West Partners since 1993. In addition to his current role, John has served as COO, general manager of EWR’s Beaver Creek division, and as chief financial officer. In 2005, John worked as part of EWP’s development team for Avon’s new Riverfront Village, which features the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, a high-speed gondola, vacation ownership and whole-ownership condominiums.
From 1983 until 1993, John was a CPA with the Denver office of Pannell Kerr Forster, an accounting and consulting firm, which specialized in services to the hospitality and real estate industries. John provided services to hotels, condominium associations, real estate companies, management companies, private clubs and within other industries such as distribution, technology and manufacturing.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
A native of Wyoming, John attended the University of Wyoming before graduating from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. John completed the Advanced Management Program from Cornell University’s Hotel School in 2002.
COMMUNITY SERVICE/AFFILIATIONS
John is the past chairman of the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association, the state’s premier lodging trade association. He previously served on the board of directors on the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals. John is a member of Vail’s “Down Valley” Rotary, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and American Resort Developers Association (ARDA)
PERSONAL
John and his children Alyssa, Natalie and Michael reside in Edwards, Colorado. John’s personal interests include his family, skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, camping, (motorcycle) dirt-biking, biking, and golf.
JULIE BERGSTEN

RESPONSIBILITIES
Julie is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all Slifer Smith & Frampton offices. She creates the budgets, works to keep the budgets on track, oversees all financial spending, manages vendor relationships, insurance, and lawsuits. Julie oversees all twenty-two offices with remodeling, and setting up new brokers with equipment and relationship building.
BACKGROUND
Julie moved from Seattle to Vail in 1994. She founded the Covered Bridge Coffee Shop in the Vail Village and operated the venture for 7 years, where she met many coffee-drinking brokers visiting from the Slifer Smith & Frampton office across the street. Julie’s interest in Real Estate grew, and she pursued a career change. Julie obtained her Real Estate license and in 2001, joined Slifer Smith & Frampton as John Calhoun’s assistant in the development of Cordillera.
EDUCATION
Julie graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Communications major.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Julie participates in many community events, such as the highway clean-up, Habitat for Humanity and leads the annual East West Hoedown committee. In Seattle she was a “big sister.”
PERSONAL
Julie and her Swedish husband, Jonny, live in Eagle Ranch with their son, Lukas and twin girls Ava and Emma. Julie and her family enjoy the outdoors, skiing, snowmobiling, camping and hiking everyday.
LAURA CAMPBELL

RESPONSIBILITIES
Laura’s responsibilities include financial reporting of various development projects located in Beaver Creek, Eagle, Breckenridge and Denver, Colorado as well as California and South Carolina.
BACKGROUND
Laura worked for Vail Associates, Inc. in 1985 prior to joining East West Partners in 1987 as a staff accountant. She left in 1992 to explore other opportunities however she rejoined the team in 1997 in her current position.
EDUCATION
Laura is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado.
PERSONAL
She is married with one seven-year-old Australian Shepherd. Laura enjoys skiing, mountain biking, running and reading. Laura is a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of CPA’s.
LIZ ADAMS
RESPONSIBILITIES
Liz is the Regional Controller for East West Resorts. She is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations related to the Rental and Management operations for the Vail Valley Division. In addition, she provides support to the Controllers for the Tahoe and Big Sky Divisions.
BACKGROUND
Liz is a Certified Public Accountant and has worked in the accounting field for over 20 years. She first moved to the Vail Valley in 1988 to become the Finance Officer for the Town of Avon. In May, 1999, Liz joined East West Resorts as the Controller for the Beaver Creek Division.

Liz received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado.
PERSONAL
Liz and her husband Jim live in Eagle, Colorado. Her interests include hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, boating, and travel.
MIKE KING

RESPONSIBILITIES
Mike is the IT Manager for EWP Colorado/Utah and Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate. In this role he wears many hats, including overseeing the operation of all information technology for the two companies, such as email, websites, phone systems and help desk support, coordinating the legal side of IT with Sarbanes-Oxley adherence, as well as bringing technical expertise to a multitude of EWP development projects.
BACKGROUND
Mike moved to the Vail Valley 10 years ago and began his own IT consulting company shortly after. He actively ran this business before joining East West Technology in 2004, assisting with Slifer Smith & Frampton’s technology needs. Since that time he has moved into a variety of other roles, including project management, operations management and currently IT management.
EDUCATION
Mike earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester in Religious Studies. Since then he has achieved a number of certificates in the IT industry.
PERSONAL
Mike and his wife Nicole live with their 2 sons, Ethan and Charlie, in Eagle, CO. They love to play tennis, go for hikes, score runs in softball and garden in their backyard.
PETER DANN

RESPONSIBILITIES
Peter oversees all East West Resorts hospitality operations within Eagle County; inclusive of property, association, rental, and interval management for projects in Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon, Bachelor Gulch, Arrowhead and Eagle.
BACKGROUND
Peter joined East West Resorts in 1992 as Operations Manager, when Beaver Creek was the sole East West Resorts hospitality division. After moving to Vail in his mid-twenties, Peter worked for RA Nelson as an onsite construction superintendent. He supervised the construction of many local and Beaver Creek developments including Saddle Ridge, Greystone, and other East West projects. He moved on to work for Vista Resorts and oversaw the development of the Chateau in Beaver Creek. Peter then began his involvement with East West Partners, working as the Construction Manager for the redevelopment of the Covered Bridge Building in Vail, while jointly working on operations for East West Resorts.
EDUCATION
Peter is originally from Painted Post, New York, where his father was a developer and hotel operator. Peter attended Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire where he was a member of the Nordic ski team. He majored in Economics at the University of Denver. He also has commercial certification in Underwater Construction and has spent a month working 400 feet underwater in the Gulf of Mexico. Most recently, Peter is a graduate of Cornell’s General Manager’s program and holds an active Colorado Real Estate License.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Peter participates competitively in all the local mountain biking, running, and snowshoe series races which benefit many local charities. He also helps with sponsorship to those local sporting events through EWR and has created EWR Mountain Bike and Snowshoe racing teams.
PERSONAL
Peter and his wife Abby, have two daughters, Rachel and Catherine. Rachel age 16, is finishing her junior year at Western Reserve Academy in Ohio, while Catherine is completing her senior year at Battle Mountain High School. Locally, she is a member of the Vail Youth Ballet Company. Peter is an avid triathlete, and in 2004, was ranked 3rd nationally in his age-group for the Xterra Off-Road Triathlon Series.
RODNEY SLIFER

There is a saying that “Rod Slifer has been in Vail as long as Vail has been Vail,” and it’s true. Arriving in 1962, the year the ski area was formed, he has been an integral part of the community ever since.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In November of 1989, Rod joined Harry Frampton, former President of Vail Associates and senior partner in East West Partners, and Mark Smith, managing broker, to form Slifer Smith & Frampton – a full service real estate brokerage with offices in Vail and Beaver Creek.
BACKGROUND
Rod’s business involvement in Vail began by his representing Vial Associates in residential and commercial sales. In 1962 he formed a property management company to handle the growing number of homes and condominiums in Vail’s rental market. In 1968, Rod founded Slifer & Company which was initially a real estate brokerage and later, diversified into recreational and residential development. Of all Rod’s major real estate transactions his sale of Beaver Creek Mountain to Vail Associates, Inc. is probably the most notable.
EDUCATION
Rod is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Business Administration.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Rod’s involvement in community affairs ranges from raising money for education through the Eagle River Scholarship Fund to his efforts in founding the Jerry Ford Invitational Golf tournament. He is currently the mayor of Vail and serves on many non-profit and for-profit Boards of Directors.
SHARON COLE

RESPONSIBILITIES
Sharon is responsible for closing sales on all of East West Partners’ new real estate properties in Old Greenwood, Breckenridge and Bachelor Gulch. She also arranges the financing for fractional project purchasers in Old Greenwood and Breckenridge. Additionally, she assists in the marketing efforts for Main Street Station Vacation Club in Breckenridge.
BACKGROUND
Sharon began working with East West Partners in July 2001. She pursued a position with East West Partners because of her pleasant experiences working with them while she was an appraisal review officer and loan auditor with First Bank.
EDUCATION
Sharon attended Saint Mary’s College in Maryland. In 1977, she moved to Colorado with friends to spend a season skiing and never left!
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Sharon enjoys participating in local community services. She is on the East West Partners Hoedown planning committee, and adopts a family every year for the holidays.
PERSONAL
Sharon and her husband Tom have three children, Leigh-Ann, Kelly and Ross, and a yellow lab pup named Shelby. Sharon’s favorite hobby is cooking and she also enjoys snowshoeing, skiing and spending time outdoors.
SHAWNA TOPOR

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the VP of Marketing, Shawna works with the Project Managers in the Vail Valley and Summit County to develop the traditional marketing, e-marketing and public relations efforts for development projects. She also oversees the marketing efforts for the overall company image including employee and community efforts.
BACKGROUND
Shawna has been a part of the East West family since 1998. Previously, she worked for Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate (SSF) and East West Technology as the Director of Marketing. Prior to moving to the Vail Valley in 1998 she began her career working for 2 years at a Marketing & Advertising Agency in Kansas City.
EDUCATION
Shawna graduated from Kansas State University in 1996 with a BA in Advertising and a minor in Spanish. More recently she was nominated for and completed a twelve week program through the Vail Leadership Institute designed to strengthen and cultivate the leadership skills of the Valley professionals.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Shawna has put in numerous hours over the years volunteering for events ranging from the Battle of the Ski Schools to the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, to the Snowshoe Shuffle Series. As well as helping local community organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Vail Valley Highway Cleanup and participating in the Girls to Women program for Meet the Wilderness. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Bright Future Foundation.
PERSONAL
Born and raised in Dodge City, Kansas, Shawna is one of the few people who can say she actually did “Get the hell out of Dodge!” She now lives in Eagle with her husband Marty, their children Sophie and Jake and a chocolate lab named Coco. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping and rafting.
TRISHA LEWIS

EXPERIENCE
Trisha has over 13 years of accounting experience with East West Partners. Trisha joined East West Partners in 1993, and has been involved in various aspects of accounting in both the operations and development divisions. In 2001, Trisha and her family briefly relocated to Lake Tahoe to assist in the formation of the accounting department. Trisha’s current responsibilities as Manager of Accounting Operations include supervising the day to day accounting transactions for the Avon office, organizing and managing the financial and Sarbanes Oxley audits, as well as assisting the Vice President of Finance with budgeting and financial reporting.
BACKGROUND
Prior to joining the East West Partners team, Trisha worked with Vail Resorts for 3 years in finance and administration.
EDUCATION
Trisha acquired her education at Universities in California, Nevada and Colorado. Presently, Trisha is pursuing a BS in Finance at the University of Colorado, Denver.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Trisha is actively involved in community service, with a primary focus on cancer research and prevention. Trisha enjoys participating in community events such as the Snowshoe Shuffle, Relay for Life, and is a member of the National Bone Marrow Program, in which she had the opportunity to donate bone marrow to a matching recipient in 2003.
PERSONAL
Trisha, her husband Alan, and their two children reside in Edwards, Colorado. They have two affectionate labs, and enjoy all the mountains have to offer including skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, camping, and a lot of hockey!
