Growing up, Mark and his family would beat the Texas heat by vacationing to the Rockies. He was moved by the mountains and wanted to live in Colorado so he enrolled at the University of Denver for his undergrad. He later earned an Executive MBA from the University of Colorado.
Upon receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Construction Management, Mark moved to Washington DC, where he worked for Toll Brothers building high-end residential developments. The hustle and bustle of the east coast was great but not ideal, so he transferred with Toll back to Colorado. After spending a few years in the Denver market, Mark moved up to the mountains to construct the Four Seasons Vail, and completed other projects in the resort markets of Aspen and Breckenridge. When he completed his MBA in 2014, Mark moved to Kauai to work as a Project Manager for Kukui’ula Development Co. Once East West Partners won the North Shore development deal, he came on board as Construction Manager for the project.
The mountains still hold a special place in Mark’s heart and he loves returning to the Rockies to fly fish. Mark ran his first marathon in Orange County, Ca., in 2016 and is always looking for new challenges.
