With more than 30 years in the resort industry Scott has been in every role, from Food and Beverage to Executive Management, and everything in between. During his early days with the East West Partners’ family in Lake Tahoe, Scott began as the Director of Fractional Services and later became the General Manager for Old Greenwood, Gray’s Crossing and at One Village Place in Northstar. Before heading west to California, Scott was the General Manager of the Wentworth Mansion in Charleston, South Carolina, where he opened and ran the Five Diamond property and led it to become one of Conde Nast’s Top 50 North American Hotels.
Scott earned a PCAM designation from the Community Associations Institute, and served on their national board. He attended both the Hotel School at Cornell University and Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
In his latest role as Director of Operations at Snowmass Village, Scott is in charge of leading the East West Partners’ hospitality team. He, his wife Louise, and their son Noah live in Basalt, Colorado, where they are always on the hunt for their next outdoor adventure.
